Meet Dr. Reef Karim

Dr. Reef Karim is a transformational scientist, humanistic psychiatrist, disruptive communications advisor, and award-winning performing artist who’s motto is

“I could write you a prescription but expanding your mind is way more effective.”

Dr Reef is a trusted authority and well-known thought leader who has been on the biggest shows & the biggest stages. Reef Karim served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience for over a decade, published in prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals, and founded, operated, and exited a highly successful mental health center.

Trusted and interviewed by Oprah, Larry King, Deepak Chopra, Dr Oz, Dr Phil, CNN, FOX, Forbes, Business Insider, Today, GMA, and so many others, Reef believes we live in an epidemic of emotional reactivity and conformity thinking where our current culture is toxic to the pursuit of personal meaning and inspiration; rendering many to feel uninspired, unexpressed, and unrealized.

Reef is dedicated to re-imagining mental health and personal productivity by elevating cognitive flexibility, creative vision and soulful expression by turning down the volume of the outside world and turning up the volume within us to develop and tell our distinctive story to attract more opportunities and deepen relationships.

Dr. Reef is the CEO of the disruptive communications company,

Mad Genius (madgeniusexperience.com),

and the founder of the personal transformation program,

Master The Madness (masterthemadness.com).

Forbes pens, "Dr Reef Karim has worked with a who's who list of A-List Actors, Politicians, Royalty, Rock Stars, Professional Athletes & Fortune 500 CEO's"

For his work in transformation, entertainment, and medicine, Reef Karim was voted one of People Magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive (hey, smart is sexy!) and one of LA’s Most Fascinating People.

As an award-winning performer, Reef hosted multiple television shows on the Discovery, Science & Court TV networks, acted in feature films with Christian Bale & Health Ledger, and has shared his talent on television shows like VEEP. Reef consulted for big movies like Bourne Identity and Laurel Canyon, performed stand-up and Sketch Improv in Hollywood, and danced swing, salsa, and hustle on prominent Las Vegas stages.

Personally, Reef lives in LA with his partner on and off the dance floor, Liz Lira, and his son, Dream. Hailing from Chicago, Reef is a huge sports fan, deep dish pizza lover, and rockabilly guy.
